Back On Track Psychology was inspired to provide quality mental health services to the wider community, including the cultural and linguistically diverse (CALD) individuals. We are committed to provide allied health service using the language that clients are comfortable with. Our evidence-based, personalised approach is designed to support client's mental wellbeing and personal development.

About the Role

This role is perfect for an experienced Speech Pathologist looking to work in a mental health setting that is largely clinic-based (YES! We are mostly clinic-based). You'll work with adults and children with diverse needs, delivering therapy in-clinic, via telehealth, or at times in the community.

Whether it's speech clarity, language development, AAC, stuttering, voice, social skills, communication support or swallowing support, you'll be supported to build your expertise and take on complex cases.

Responsibilities

* Assess, plan, and deliver therapy across speech, language, AAC, social skills, stuttering, voice, and swallowing.
* Work with a variety of client presentations, including Autism, ADHD, intellectual disability, developmental delays, schizophrenia, ABI and more.
* Participate in mentoring, workshops, and professional development opportunities.
* Providing assessments as part of multi-disciplinary autism diagnostic assessments

Selection Criteria

* Approved degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent and eligible for certified practising membership of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
* You will have at least two years of demonstrated experience providing empathic and warm therapeutic interventions to children, young people and their families.
* Working with Children Check, Victorian Police Check.
* Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
* Maintain professional indemnity insurance.
* Current driver's licence and access to a vehicle (preferred).
* Mandarin and/ or Cantonese speaking (preferred but not mandatory).
* Part-time/ Full-time.
