About the Project
Kimberley Mineral Sands Pty Ltd (KMS) is a 50/50 joint venture between Sheffield Resources Limited and YGH Australia Investment Pty Ltd (Yansteel). The Thunderbird Mineral Sands Project (Thunderbird) is located mid-way between Derby and Broome, in the Kimberley region of Western Australia.
Thunderbird is one of the largest and highest-grade zircon mineral sands deposits in the world and contains valuable heavy minerals including ilmenite, zircon, leucoxene, and rutile, which are extracted and exported via the Port of Broome.

About the Role
Reporting to the Superintendent Haulage & Logistics, this is an exciting opportunity for a Materials Coordinator to join our growing mining company on permanent basis.
This role will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the warehouse through completing effective stock management of all materials required for the safe operation of the Thunderbird Processing and Mining operation.
This role will be relied on to receive all freight, issue equipment and materials to operational teams, maintain and update all relevant materials within the designated ERP program, liaising with the maintenance and purchasing teams, as well as provide support to the wider KMS business to ensure all materials are properly receipted and stored in line with KMS's expectations.
Site based roster:8 days on, 6 days off (Bus in, Bus Out) - From Broome or Derby
Key Responsibilities
* Receipt inbound goods in line with procedures, including the safe unloading of vehicles as required
* Liaise with operations personnel and suppliers in regards to the status of items required
* Ensure stock availability is managed and monitored
* Manage all outbound goods, ensuring documentation is completed accurately
* Ensure the movement off all goods is recorded in the relevant system
* Complete reconciliation and stock take processes as required
* Ensure work areas remain free from hazards, damage and defects
* Store all goods in line with layout plans and safety procedures, ensuring the warehouse facility is secure at all times
* Operate warehousing equipment in a safe and effective manner
* Ensure housekeeping of warehouse is maintained
About You
* Current WA C-Class driver's license
* Forklift and/or High Risk Work Licence
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
* Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization
* Previous experience with SAP
* Strong computer literacy
* Strong attention to detail
* Strong organisational skills
* High regard and genuine value for safety
* Able to work in a team environment and autonomously
