Our team of experienced technical staff are subject matter experts in the development and delivery of autonomous systems and complex technical projects. Due to continued expansion within the business, SYPAQ requires a Junior Electronics Engineer to join our Port Melbourne based team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, analysing, testing and documenting electronics hardware subsystems for the Corvo family of autonomous systems. In order to apply, applicants must be able to demonstrate the following: Essential Experience - Graduate to 2 years. Experience in design and development of electronic printed circuit boards (PCB), and electrical cables and looms. Experience using PCB design tools (e.g. KiCAD, Altium) for schematic capture and PCB layout. Desirable: Experience integrating electronic components into hardware systems Experience manufacturing and assembling in a workshop environment Proficient with tools including soldering iron, and surface mount (SMT) rework equipment. Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python, Shell). Experience with version control and task tracking software (e.g. Git, Atlassian Jira). Experience working under regulated engineering frameworks (Defence, Automotive, Mining). Experience designing and flying remote control aircraft or drones.
