Our client is seeking casual experienced gardening/landscaping staff to join their team.
The positions available are for CASUAL WORK with the possibility of future permanent employment for the right candidate.
Clyde North area, ASAP start.
The company also has large scale community projects currently operating in Mulgrave, Knoxfield, Doncaster and Altona North areas.
Key Duties
- Landscaping
- Brush cutting
- Turf and lawn maintenance including using a ride‑on mower
Skills & Experience
Candidates must possess:
- Certificate II or III in Horticulture
- Minimum 3 years extensive gardening/landscaping experience
- Demonstrated experience and sound knowledge of using a ride‑on mower
- A current manual driver's licence and access to reliable transport. A MR licence is advantageous
- A current construction White / Red card
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- A Chem certificate is advantageous / Chemical spraying experience
- Chainsaw Safety ticket/training
- PPE gear including steel capped boots, safety glasses gloves and hi‑viz clothing
- Availability Monday - Friday (7am to 3.30pm)
- A proactive attitude, motivated to work outdoors and an eye for machinery
- Excellent customer service skills, good interpersonal skills and a willingness to follow instructions
- A sound understanding of standard Occupational Health & Safety procedures
- A neat appearance
In order to work all applicants must have their own PPE and a White/Red Card.
