ONE REC Global is working closely with a well-established and growing accounting and advisory firm in Melton, Victoria who are looking to add a Senior Accountant/Tax Manager to the team.
Working closely with the Director, you will play a key role in shaping the organisation, working with high net worth clients, and mentoring and developing a professional team. For the right candidate, this position offers long-term career progression and the opportunity to advance within the firm.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare, review and oversee the preparation of individual, partnership, trust, and company tax returns
* Manage complex tax affairs for high-net-worth clients
* Provide high-quality tax and business advisory services to a broad client base
* Foster and maintain strong client relationships as a primary point of contact
* Assist in the development and implementation of business processes and continuous improvement initiatives
* Collaborate with the Director on strategic projects and firm development
* Mentor, and develop a small friendly and professional team
Skills and Experience
* Minimum of
7 years' experience
in public practice accounting
* CPA or CA qualified
* Strong technical knowledge across
Division 7A, FBT, CGT, and business structuring
* Proven experience delivering
business advisory and compliance services
* Excellent leadership, mentoring, and communication skills
* Proactive, organised, and solutions-focused approach
* Proficiency in
Xero, MYOB, and Xero Tax
software
