Overview
The Role:
* Carry out a range of duties associated with maintaining the production kitchen & waste management areas in a clean and hygienic state within Launceston General Hospital (LGH).
* Ability to maintain all food service equipment and surfaces in a clean and hygienic state.
* Experience in floor cleaning and cleaning chemical use.
* Ability to understand both written and verbal instructions, and to cooperate with other personnel within the department to work successfully as a team.
* An understanding of, and ability to comply with, workplace health and safety requirements.

Details of appointment
Fixed term, casual, shift worker position (not working weekends but working public holidays) working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for approximately 12 months. Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary and benefits
Salary: $57,130 to $62,486 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
