About the Role
As our People & Culture Advisor, you will provide practical, solutions-focused HR support across the full employee and volunteer lifecycle. You'll guide leaders through employee relations matters, support performance and development processes, contribute to workforce planning, and play an active role in shaping our culture and people initiatives.
You will also help develop and deliver key strategic programs such as Reward & Recognition, Health & Wellbeing, and Diversity & Inclusion — making this an exciting opportunity to help build and influence meaningful outcomes for our people.
You'll be joining a down-to-earth, collaborative and supportive HR team, where your ideas and initiative are genuinely welcomed.
Key Responsibilities
Providing HR advice and coaching to leaders and team members
Supporting performance management, grievances and case management
Contributing to the development of Reward & Recognition, Wellbeing and D&I initiatives
Assisting with workforce planning, remuneration and performance review processes
Supporting volunteers and volunteer leaders in alignment with policy and culture expectations
Coordinating training and internal development activities
Coaching and supporting the HR Coordinator in workflow and priorities
About You (Skills and Experience)
Hold a tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business (HR major) or a related discipline (required)
Have a minimum of 5 years HR generalist experience (NFP experience highly regarded)
Are confident with employee relations, case management and award interpretation
Enjoy helping leaders build confidence and capability
Are proactive, organised and comfortable managing a varied workload
Believe in values-based, people-centred practice

The role is a full-time position, Monday to Friday based at our Nundah office.
