Strata Account Executive
This is a dynamic insurance broking role that combines client relationship management, technical insurance knowledge, and strategic negotiation to deliver tailored strata insurance solutions.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and retain a portfolio of strata schemes across various property types, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
* Develop and present customised insurance programs and renewal proposals that address the unique risks and compliance requirements of strata communities.
* Negotiate competitive terms with underwriters, leveraging market knowledge to secure optimal coverage and pricing.
* Respond to client enquiries, providing expert guidance on policy coverage, endorsements, and claims processes.
* Support and coordinate claims management, acting as a liaison between clients, insurers, and loss adjusters to ensure timely resolution.
* Identify new business opportunities through referrals, networking with strata managers, and leveraging existing relationships.
* Ensure compliance with RG146, strata legislation, and internal governance standards, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
* Stay informed on strata insurance trends, legislative changes, and emerging risks affecting the strata sector.
* Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless service and meet business objectives.
* Maintain Tier 1 qualifications and complete ongoing professional development to uphold industry standards and enhance expertise.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance broking, with at least 2 years of experience in strata.
* Ability to confidently manage a portfolio of strata renewals (70+ per month).
* Strong systems and software experience, with proven knowledge of broking platforms.
* Excellent communication skills, with an ability to build strong internal and external relationships with clients and stakeholders.
* Full, unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
