We are currently recruiting for Full time psychiatrist at our client's Townsville Private Clinic.
To start ASAP on 12-month employment contracts a brief description is below: Remuneration: $500k p.a Full-Time In this role, you will work as a consultant psychiatrist within a private hospital setting treating/admitting new patients and providing clinical management to voluntarily admitted patients.
This includes:
• Taking new and existing referrals for admission to inpatient, day program and community outreach.
• Completing 291 assessments.
• Undertaking weekly multidisciplinary reviews and second opinion reviews
• Undertaking patient billable reviews
• Clinically manage on a day-to-day basis the required clinical patient load in association with the multidisciplinary patient care team.
• Provide coverage for Drs leave and work collaboratively with the team of consultant psychiatrists.
• Comply to all aspects of the Bylaws and Hospital policy, processes and compliance requirement including but not limited to the administrative requirements around clinical documentation for the Hospital and referrers.
• Undertake/ Participate in second opinion reviews when required.
Work in partnership and collaboration with onsite Consultant Psychiatrist.
• Outpatient consultations undertaken as follow up sessions and or for urgent admission review as required.
• Opportunity for rTMS services and training.
Fully supported private practice work can also be extended to consultants as an additional working option outside of contracted hours.
