We are seeking a proactive and driven individual who works well within a team and has a 'customer comes first' attitude. You will be responsible for greeting customers, ascertaining their needs, and maintaining knowledge of products, current sales, and promotions.
You will also be required to correctly calculate pricing, complete job cards/paperwork accurately, and ensure lock nuts are always noted on Job Cards. Additionally, you will need to observe and note any scratches on wheels and the car that a customer may claim we did, check sizes front and back are correct on each vehicle, and if any wheel caps are missing and/or hubs are damaged.
Your duties will also include recommending, selecting, and helping locate or obtain products as required. You will describe products and explain product benefits, variations, and options to customers. You will ticket, arrange, and display products to promote sales as required.
You will also place special orders and communicate this in accordance with company procedures. Your goal will be to achieve sales growth and expectations in terms of unit sales and/or revenue. You will maintain good housekeeping standards in your work area and ensure stock is available before arranging final purchase and completion of job cards/paperwork.
You will assess job completion time and communicate this accurately to each customer outlining issues and/or variations that may occur with special orders. You will assist with merchandising of the wheel showroom/area together with other Sales and CS Persons. You will sell and arrange delivery of phone orders by completing paperwork correctly and accurately.
As a valued member of our team, you will provide service excellence to customers at all times. You will offer complimentary beverages when something goes wrong and it's the Company's fault.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Be a proactive and driven individual who works well within a team and has a 'customer comes first' attitude.
* Have a passion for selling - both FACE TO FACE and on the TELEPHONE.
* Provide service excellence by solving customer problems and providing sales solutions.
* Hold a valid NSW Driver's License.
* Be comfortable liaising and building relationships with customers.
* Tyre and/or wheel sales experience preferred but NOT essential.
