About The Role
K'gari Beach Resort is seeking a passionate Sous Chef to join our vibrant kitchen team on beautiful K'gari (Fraser Island), Queensland.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic team player who is skilled in the kitchen and passionate about delivering top-notch service. This role offers a unique island lifestyle experience and an opportunity to contribute to our exceptional culinary team.
This position requires you to live and work on the island at K'gari Beach Resort.
About You
You are a Trade Qualified Sous Chef with at least 4 years' culinary experience and possess the following qualifications:
* Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent (essential)
* Diploma in Hospitality Management (desirable)
* HACCP and Food Safety and Hygiene training
* Experience in high-volume kitchens
* Experience in hotel/resort settings (highly regarded)
