Mercy Community Aged Care Services is seeking experienced Registered Nurse to join our team on a Part-Time basis, based at our Aged Care Facility – Loreto (Townsville). This will be to fill predominantly morning shifts.
This position is responsible for coordinating person-centred care to residents and supervision of staff across one or more clusters within the residential care facility. Working collaboratively within a professional team to provide excellent care and to improve the independence and quality of life of all residents. Loreto is a 24-hour, 36 bed Aged Care Facility. The team is looking for the next superstar to join and support our residents.
This role entails but is not limited to:
* Providing safe and competent clinical management and nursing interventions in accordance with recognised standards of practice & monitor and oversee staff practices to ensure a coordinated approach to resident care
* Ensuring residents, their families and significant others are included in the care planning process and engaged in decisions affecting the resident
* Coordinating and monitoring the planning, implementation and evaluation of service outcomes and nursing care standards
* Preparing ANACC documentation so that funding is optimised
About you:
* Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (mandatory)
* Experience in leading a team and supervising staff
* Be able to fill night shifts Wednesday to Saturday
