The Care, Community & Education team work exclusively with clients such as National private healthcare providers; large aged care, disability services providers; and private schools. If this sounds like you, we have an excellent opportunity for someone to join our Perth office as a Care, Community and Education Associate, and we want to hear from you
What will you be doing?
Support the team on our larger corporate clients.
Liaise with clients on their existing insurance programs and generally assist with their queries, researching available products for client needs.
Liaise with underwriters, critically review quotations and always act in the best interests of your clients.
Calculate premiums for new and existing business.
Draft, prepare and process renewal declarations, reports, quotations, insurance manuals, Certificates of Currency, new business reports and quotations.
Calculate and process adjustment premiums to policies.
Lodge and manage claims with the support of senior team members.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
To be a self-starter with strong organisation skills
To be presentable, confident and professional as the role will require you to liaise with senior clients on behalf of our business.
The ability to drive change and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
Interpersonal skills to build relationships and liaise with clients, the team, and senior management.
You will need the following experience and qualifications:
Tier 1 qualification in Insurance Broking.
Have at least 2-3 years of experience in the insurance/broking industry.
Understanding of invoicing procedures and file management.
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel for reporting.
Knowledge of broking systems such as WinBEAT is a desirable.
