About The Role

We are seeking a qualified Environmental Consultant to support our organisation in understanding and mitigating environmental impacts and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. You will work on a range of projects that require environmental impact analysis, planning, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluating water treatment plans, formulating short and long-term environmental management goals.

Enforcing environmental laws and regulations to conserve and protect ecosystems, including fish and wildlife.

Consulting with clients and stakeholder regarding appropriate filtration techniques, strategies and operating setpoints based on the properties of the wastewater, sewage, sludge, tailings to maximise efficiency.

Proposing solutions and strategies to address negative environmental impacts.

Consulting to clients and stakeholders, providing tailored solutions of an appropriate environmental management plan for council sewage treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, mining wastewater treatment plants, plastic recycling plants, and food- dairy wastewater treatment plants.

Study and conduct water quality tests, assess wastewater properties, and recommend appropriate treatment plants and management plans for wastewater for different industries.

Proposing appropriate waste management plan, wastewater treatment plan, recycling plan to reduce the environmental impact of the wastewater, sewage, sludge and tailings in the environment.

Assisting in developing Innovative Filtration Solution's environmental management plan, policies, strategies, and codes of practice for the laboratory, warehouse and on-site

Conduct environmental audits annually and propose solutions to address negative environmental impacts of the activities that takes place in the lab, warehouse and on-site.

Key Skills And Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience of 1 year of relevant professional experience in environmental consulting or natural resource management, preferably in a similar industry.

Strong knowledge of environmental legislation, conservation practices, and ecological assessment methodologies.

Excellent communication skills for preparing reports and engaging with clients, regulators, and stakeholders.

Ability to conduct fieldwork and analyse environmental data using industry tools and software.

Fluent in English.
