This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the development of recovery strategies for individuals with complex mental health needs. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide specialist drug and alcohol services, enhancing the transition of consumers from hospital to community care.

Key responsibilities include reviewing historical and current substance use issues, conducting assessments, identifying risks, and developing strategies to mitigate them. You will also provide coaching, consultation, and education to internal and external stakeholders on substance use issues.

As a member of the PCLI Community Transition Team, you will be part of a state-wide network of clinicians working towards shaping complex care and rehabilitation in mental health services across NSW.

To be successful in this role, you must possess clinical skills, experience, and knowledge of substance use issues in complex mental health presentations. Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with various stakeholders, including providing education and consultation.

The ideal candidate will have a qualification in occupational therapy, psychology, nursing, social work, or counselling, with eligibility for membership of the relevant professional association and/or provisional or general registration through AHPRA.
">
You will be supported by the team manager and relevant head of discipline/discipline networks, with opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge in complex mental health and link with other PCLI Drug and Alcohol clinicians across the state.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
