Job Description:
Careers in maintenance engineering involve working with complex equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend its lifespan. In this role, you will be part of a dedicated field service team responsible for maintaining radiotherapy equipment at multiple locations across Perth.
The key responsibility is to support experienced engineers in providing breakdown, maintenance, and repair services for medical equipment in our clinics. This includes supporting a qualified engineer in performing routine calibrations, preventative maintenance, and quality assurance testing on designated modalities.
Additionally, you will assist with coordination and planning of scheduled maintenance tasks, as well as learn to diagnose and troubleshoot issues using blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. You will also work safely in confined areas and around high current/high voltage equipment.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity that requires flexibility, including after-hours and weekend support services, as well as remote and on-site engineering support.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, or Electrical Engineering
* Eligibility for a state Radiation use licence
* Eligibility for a state/Australian restricted electrical licence
* Valid driver's licence for the state you are employed in
* Excellent time management and prioritization skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team
