Jobwire is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant in Nursing to join our team working in Newcastle - Largs, Redhead and Belmont. As an Assistant in Nursing in this casual role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality healthcare and support to our aged care residents. What you'll be doing
* Assisting registered nurses and other healthcare professionals in delivering personal care to residents
* Helping with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal assistance
* Maintaining accurate records and documentation
What we're looking for
* Previous experience as an Assistant in Nursing or similar role in an aged care setting
* Recent paid experience in Australia within the aged care sector within 6 months
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents and their families
