Job Description
* The primary objective of this position is to contribute to the Cyber Security & Privacy Risk Services division by conducting IT and cyber security audits and consulting engagements for various clients across Australia.
* Develop a fundamental understanding of cyber / consulting / audit skills as incorporated in RSM processes.
* Gain insight into information systems and processes, documenting them accurately.
* Apply the fundamentals of cyber security / IT audit and risk management.
* Understand information security controls and their relation to engagement requirements.
* Perform tests of internal controls and audit procedures as directed and in accordance with RSM policies and procedures.
* Develop knowledge of electronic audit tools.
* Complete allocated tasks in accordance with directions given.
Responsibilities and Requirements
* Knowledge of IT and Cyber Security frameworks.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Attention to detail.
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
* Previous experience in Cyber Security, IT auditing of application systems, networking, databases, change management, and other related IT governance and operational functions.
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar field.
