The Role
Reporting to the Senior Mechanical Maintenance Planner, you'll be responsible for delivering long- and short-term maintenance strategies by applying the documented Maintenance Business Processes. The applied processes include Work Management, Maintenance Performance Measures, Budgeting and Cost Management, Materials Management, Reliability Centred Maintenance methodologies and principles and maintenance process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver accurate, cost-effective maintenance plans and schedules.
- Drive continuous improvement in maintenance and asset care processes.
- Use SAP insights to boost equipment reliability and uptime.
- Coach and support teams in effective work management and SAP use.
- Coordinate budgets and help achieve key maintenance performance goals.
- Lead practical problem-solving and implement plant improvements.
- Contribute to site improvement and risk management initiatives.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure safe, efficient plant operations.
What You’ll Bring
We are wanting to hear from candidates with a proven background in a maintenance planning or similar role Ideally within a mining or chemical environment.
Other Desirable Skills And Experience Include
- Electrical or Mechanical trade or tertiary qualification
- Preferably skilled in the SAP PM application or equivalent CMMS system
- Understanding of condition monitoring concepts
- Management and interaction with service providers and contractors
- Demonstrated competence in working collaboratively and delivering to deadlines
- Computer literate; MS Word, Excel, Adobe Writer and SAP business systems
