Maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients and suppliers, prioritising responsive customer care and long-term partnershipsWork with internal teams, end users, and vendors to troubleshoot, adapt, and upgrade installed systems for optimal performance and client satisfactionCoordinate follow-up actions from initial diagnostics or on-site assessments, ensuring timely issue resolution and clear client communicationAnticipate potential challenges and emerging issues, facilitating effective solutions including system enhancements, upgrades, or new capability integrationAssess and vet new products and suppliers for suitability to client needsIdentify and engage potential clients for relevant technologies, including existing and adjacent government agenciesSupport client engagement activities such as workshops, seminars, and exhibitions to showcase new technologiesThe Ideal Person
You will bring experience in offensive cyber and/or operational intelligence environments, with strong technical expertise and the ability to translate complex technologies into practical client solutions.
Background in engineering, computer science, cyber security, or related fields is highly desirableExperience within the Australian Government (APS6–EL2) and knowledge of procurement and stakeholder engagement is an advantageExceptional communication and relationship-building skills with clients, suppliers, and internal teamsAmbitious, professional, discreet, with high integrity and a strong work ethicLeadership potential and commercial awareness, with opportunities for growth and increased responsibilityAbility to negotiate with suppliers: technically and commerciallyAbility to draft proposals for clients (desirable)This role requires occasional evening calls and online meetings to collaborate with suppliers based in European time zones and support project delivery.
Domestic and occasional international travel may be required.
