Role Overview:
As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising, coordinating and training the food and beverage staff to ensure a high level of customer service is delivered to our guests. You will be responsible for ensuring that customers are served in a professional and timely manner, while also taking care of their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate the work of food and beverage staff, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff
* Train new staff members and provide ongoing training for existing staff to maintain high levels of customer service
* Ensure that all staff members adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards
* Monitor and maintain inventory levels, including ordering and receiving supplies
* Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and drinks to ensure quality and consistency
* Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
* Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment, including the dining area, kitchen, and storage areas
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
* Create and implement staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours and special events
* Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff members
* Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and increase sales
* Assist with administrative tasks, such as payroll, inventory management, and budgeting
Requirements:
* At least 12 months of prior experience as a Restaurant Supervisor or in a similar role
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Strong customer service skills and a passion for providing exceptional service
* Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including food safety and hygiene standards
* Ability to work in a fast‐paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
* Proven ability to train and develop staff members
* Strong problem‐solving and decision‐making skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs
