Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Head of Corporate Services and leading a team of 6, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
* Ensuring all pays are processed accurately to meet award, legislative and audit requirements and done so within the required timeframes.
* Maintain accuracy, professionalism and a high quality of service at all time
* Demonstrate and ensure exceptional customer service is provided to all internal staff members.
* Ensure all payroll staff are trained, managed, motivated and developed to work efficiently within a team environment.
* Continue to look at process improvements within the department and the organisation.
* Be up to date with all legislative requirements.
* Prepare various reconciliations for external and internal use (such as superannuation, taxation, GSO reconciliations, Single Touch Payroll etc).

Candidate Profile
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:
* Significant payroll experience in a complex, largely EBA/Award driven environments
* Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
* Experience with Chris21 a bonus
* Knowledge of relevant Awards, EBAs, and legislation
* High attention to detail and analytical capability
* A collaborative and strategic mindset
