RaD was founded in 1987 by Denis Hansen, under the name Rent a Dent, it's franchising began in 1992. By 2017 it was rebranded RaD Car Hire and purchased by The Index Group in 2019 and it is now part of a network of locally owned rental car franchises across New Zealand and Queensland, Australia.
We offer rental cars of all sizes, from small hatchbacks and compact sedans to station
wagons, SUV's and people movers. The rental cars are offered in a budget range as well as late model and new vehicle ranges.
Our Queensland locations cover Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and Brisbane airports. These branches also service Noosa, Maroochydore airport, Mooloolaba, Surfers Paradise, Coolangatta Airport and Logan.

Our Head of Fleet oversees the fleet of rental cars in Sunshine Coast ensuring vehicles are safe and road ready whilst managing repairs, maintenance schedules and supplier
relationships and maintain costs according to budget.
Tasks include:
* Ensure all vehicles are maintained to a high safety and compliance standard.
* Coordinate scheduled servicing, repairs, and inspections.
* Manage parts orders, branch stock levels, and supplier accounts.
* Maintain accurate maintenance, registration, and insurance records
* Oversee accident repairs, warranty claims, and third-party recoveries.
* Oversee vehicle deliveries, returns, and condition management.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years' experience
* Australian driver licence
* Ability to prioritise and make decisions under pressure.
* Flexible and solution-focused mindset.
* No formal qualifications required
Hours of work per week: 38 hours.
Annual salary between $77,000 and $83,000 plus superannuation (based on experience)
