* Business Analyst (Data Governance)
* 12 months initial contract; with possible extension

We're seeking a Data Governance Business Analyst to support enterprise data initiatives. You'll facilitate workshops to identify critical data assets, roll out an Information Classification Framework, capture "as is" and design "to be" processes, and help embed data governance practices. Strong stakeholder engagement, core BA skills, and data governance project experience required. Utilities/mining experience desirable.
Qualifications:
* Core BA skills, such as data analysis in Excel, facilitating workshops, requirements gathering, benefits identification and realisation.
* Soft skills, such as those required to effectively communicate complex concepts in layperson terms, and to appropriately manage stakeholder expectations.
* "As is "process capture and "to be" process design.
* Lean process improvement to identify areas of waste or areas of a process that can be improved.
* Working in an agile environment, whilst not necessarily implementing an Agile methodology.
* Project establishment and closure activities, such as problem identification/definition, development of business cases, identification of project budgets, and operational handover support (including development of associated documentation).
