Who are we looking for? Due to an internal move, we are pleased to seek expressions of interest for a Business Group Leader – Energy & Resources. In this key role, you will be working closely with our Operations Manager, Market Leaders, multi-disciplinary management team and our international network of technical specialists across our diverse business. You will realise opportunities and ensure sustainable performance and growth from our established and high performing E&R team comprising over 25 professionals in electrical, mechanical, process & multi-disciplinary design management and project management roles. You will be responsible for technical and commercial outcomes on local and national renewables, power and industrial projects and play a key role in developing our people in line with GHD’s values and purpose. You will be a proactive, collaborative and motivating leader, able to get the best out of your team as mentor and coach. You will have demonstrated skills in project and financial management and be capable of winning and leading multi-disciplinary projects. Offering a variety of responsibilities, you will be involved in: Building a strong business development and winning work culture, with effective positioning and pursuit of large and strategic opportunities and expanding GHD's presence and market share. Developing and empowering a high performing and passionate team of talented professionals to reach their potential As part of the regional management team, championing the regional strategy, creating and achieving business plan objectives and targets and roll out of locally based initiatives. Leading the commercial direction, risk management and governance on projects.
