The Role
We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager Maintenance to join our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of Asset Power Solutions, ensuring efficient and effective management of resources, optimising operational processes, and achieving company objectives. This role involves strategic planning, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.
This is a hands on leadership role with genuine influence and the opportunity to shape operational strategy. The operations portfolio you will oversee is maintenance projects to the value of $2 - $3 million dollars.
Key Responsibilities
* Operational management to implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity across all areas.
* Resource management to ensure the effective allocation of resources is achieved, including labour, materials, and equipment for all projects.
* Safety and compliance to ensure all operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards.
* Staff management to motivate and develop the operations team, fostering a productive work environment.
* Customer relations to ensure all supervisors maintain productive relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Financial oversight while supporting supervisors to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
About You
* Strong knowledge of electrical operational management principles, including project management and process optimisation tools.
* Leadership Diploma or Project Management qualification will be well regarded. Formal education within the electrical industry.
* Excellent strategic leadership and negotiation skills with customer focus mindset.
* Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and financial plans with a commitment to continuous improvement.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Comprehensive understanding of safety and compliance regulations in the electrical industry.
