Key Responsibilities
* Support the development and implementation of the responsible investment strategy and initiatives of the organisation;
* Support asset class teams with embedding responsible investment practices;
* Support the implementation of key responsible investment initiatives, including Funds SA's approach to managing the risks of climate change and undertaking investment ESG due diligence;
* Contribute to stewardship activities, including proxy voting activities;
* Support management and monitoring of the Socially Responsible Investment (SRI) option;
* Undertake and contribute to research on responsible investment opportunities, trends and themes;
* Contribute to internal and external reports for relevant stakeholders (i.e. PRI, Investment Committee and the Board)
* Collaborate with different stakeholders on various projects as needed to achieve business objectives.
Key Skills, Knowledge and Experience
* Tertiary qualifications in science, engineering, finance, economics, mathematics or similar relevant fields;
* Knowledge and experience working within ESG / responsible investment or investment management with exposure to responsible investment activities;
* Strong analytical and numerical skills and ability to interpret and analyse scientific, economic, and financial information;
* Understanding and knowledge of relevant legislative, regulatory, governance procedures and practices relating to Funds SA's activities;
* Ability to work with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders;
* Highly self-motivated, professional and adaptable to change; AND
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and organisational skills.
