Project Manager – Electrical, Civil Infrastructure, Private MV and HV
Wilken Service Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Electrical, Civil Infrastructure, Private MV and HV to lead and deliver electrical infrastructure projects across NSW. This role suits a driven professional with strong knowledge of Ausgrid and Endeavour Energy networks, who thrives in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment.
About the Role
As Project Manager, you will have end-to-end responsibility for the planning, coordination, and delivery of Electrical, Civil Infrastructure, Private MV and HV projects. You will manage internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and network authorities while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage Electrical, Civil Infrastructure, Private MV and HV projects from planning through to completion
* Interpret and deliver works in accordance with construction drawings, plans, and specifications
* Liaise with Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
* Ensure compliance with network authority standards, WHS requirements, and project scopes
* Develop and manage project programs, budgets, schedules, and resourcing
* Proactively manage risks, resolve site or program issues, and maintain progress
* Monitor performance, manage variations, and provide accurate project reporting
* Ensure deadlines are achieved while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Project Manager within Electrical, Civil Infrastructure, Private MV and HV
* Strong working knowledge of Ausgrid and Endeavour Energy network requirements
* High capability in reading and interpreting plans, drawings, and specifications
* Excellent time management, organisation, and prioritisation skills
* Ability to perform under pressure and manage tight delivery timeframes
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* Sound problem-solving and decision-making ability
* High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project
* Experience using project management systems and reporting tools
Desirable (but not essential)
* Electrical or civil trade background
* Formal Project Management qualifications
* Experience managing multiple concurrent projects
* Strong commercial awareness and contract management experience
