Key Account Manager Position
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Key Account Manager.
In this position, you will be responsible for cultivating and developing relationships with our existing accounting and bookkeeping partners.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Effective territory management through categorisation and prioritisation of all new and existing Accounting and Bookkeeping Partners
* Identify sales opportunities to build a sales pipeline
* Strategically prioritise and manage your day to optimise calling time to meet monthly sales and call targets
* Develop business plans to produce larger or longer term deals and work with the Partner to implement them and manage on an ongoing basis
* Run and present at Xero sales events and drive attendance for these events across your Partners
* Increase penetration within the existing Partner base
* Ensure knowledge of Xero features and functionality is kept up to date via Xero training and update webinars
* Ensure activity targets are met
* Increase and maintain the percentage of certified partners ensuring attendance of re-certification where required
* Keep all information, relating to inbound and outbound calls, up-to-date at all times in Salesforce.
Requirements:
* Direct experience in inbound phone and email sales
* Proven sales performance with the ability to create a quick and strong rapport with partners over the phone
* An interest and intrigue in the emerging online accounting market
* Accounting Product knowledge and understanding of the workings of an Accounting Practice
* Attention to detail and follow-up
* Direct experience with long term sales cycles and managing long term client relationships
* Loads of initiative and self-motivation
* Experience with presentation and spreadsheet tools including a CRM database
