An exciting opportunity to join a specialist and well-renowned Underwriting agency with this Business Development Manager role. Our client are going through a period of growth with new teams forming across various product lines, and are looking for someone to build out their multi-line Insurance portfolio and drive a presence across Australia.
This is a full-time position based in either Sydney, Melbourne, Or Brisbane.

The role involves:
• Manage, service and retain the existing portfolio
• Grow the books of multiple product lines
• Build and maintain new relationships with brokers
• Identifying new business opportunities
• Provide exceptional customer service to broker market
• Regular portfolio review to monitor profitability
• Collaboration with underwriters to manage strategy and maintenance of portfolio
• Contribute to the achievement of departmental goals relative to profit & growth
About you:
• 10 years Insurance sales or Underwriting experience preferred
• Strong Underwriting and exposure to various lines of business
• Positive, can-do attitude
• Broker relationships in place & know the market
