Monday to Thursday - 0830 to 1630.The Maintenance Officer is responsible for ensuring all planned and corrective maintenance is carried out in a safe, effective and timely manner. Responding appropriately as required in a dynamic environment and the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team is imperative.To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a strong background in general maintenance and repair tasks, excellent problem-solving skills, strong interpersonal skills, high level of organisational capability with the ability to assess and prioritise tasks. Strong competency in computer literacy and experience in using a CMMS system will be highly regarded.Qualifications, Knowledge And Requirements Required For The RoleTrade qualification and/or significant relevant experience.Experience in maintenance and grounds duties, preferably in an aged care environmentStrong practical skills across maintenance disciplines, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and general repair.Demonstrated experience in ability to plan, organise and prioritise work, in an environment with multiple and conflicting demands.Strong computer literacy, experience with CMMS highly regardedExperience in contractor and external service provider managementExposure to scheduled maintenance programs and management thereofA current, full driver’s licence for the State of Victoria which is appropriate for the type of vehicle being driven, and comply with any restrictions on their licence (e.g. wearing glasses)BenefitsMore take-home pay with competitive salary packaging options up to $15,990, Novated leasing, plus an optional Meals and Entertainment card up to $2,650 per annumConfidential access to our Employee Assistance ProgramEmployee Referral Program - refer a friend and be rewarded.Free onsite parkingOther RequirementsIt is a mandatory requirement when working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Clearance or National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Clearance, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of this role.All aged care workers are encouraged to be vaccinated against Covid-19 (3 vaccines) and receive the Flu-Vaccine.Why work for Royal Freemasons?We are an established and highly regarded Not-for-Profit provider of Aged Care Services across the Residential, Home Care and Retirement Living sectors.
