Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced operations candidate to lead the quarry team as a Quarry Manager based at our Red Hill Quarry, WA. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager Aggregates, this role is a multi-faceted position overseeing quarry operations, daily management, production, health & safety, operational development and financial activities.
In your new role, you will be:
* Leading and managing people while bringing your team along the journey to successfully achieve goals
* Making business decisions that impact the overall performance of the business, including achieving agreed targets / KPIs, financial planning, business development, and managing costs within budget
* Managing the daily operations where you are responsible for quarry development, environmental management, and preventative maintenance schedules
* Focusing on continuing our approach to environmental improvement and maintaining our reputation within the industry as a responsible and industry leader
* Bringing a strong safety mindset and managing high risk activities to reduce risk exposure for self and others
