At a rapidly growing fintech startup, we are seeking a skilled Fraud Risk Lead to join our risk and compliance team. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing our fraud risk management strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a comprehensive fraud risk management strategy that aligns with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and address emerging fraud risks and implement proactive strategies to mitigate these threats.
* Monitor fraud KPIs and generate insights to reduce false positives and detect emerging fraud patterns.
* Own and optimize the use of third-party fraud detection tools and internal rule engines.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of 5 years experience in risk or compliance, preferably in the financial services industry.
* A strong understanding of fraud trends, risk assessment methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop actionable recommendations.
