Administrators work in various rail organisations. Alternatively, you could serve as a personal assistant to a senior executive in a rail organisation.


What is the work environment like?

You might work in an office, welcoming visitors and supporting professionals across different areas, or on-site supporting project teams. Your daily tasks could include answering calls, filing paperwork, taking deliveries, scheduling appointments, managing emails, and onboarding new employees. Opportunities are available across Australia, mainly in cities and towns, with some remote roles.

While formal qualifications are not always required, a certificate or diploma in business administration can be beneficial. Many employers value diverse personal and work experiences and may offer opportunities to gain new qualifications and industry experience.
