Senior Mining Expert
Reporting to the Alternate Underground Manager, you will facilitate safe and optimal gold extraction from underground mining operations. Compliant with site Environmental and Safety Standards, you will oversee all mining aspects, including plan development and implementation in line with short to medium term planning targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement weekly, monthly, and quarterly production plans aligning with operational targets.
* Manage stopes design and subsequent drill and blast plans to maintain minimal dilution and maximum recovery.
* Ensure business success by developing, implementing, and recording mine information for safe and economic target delivery.
* Reconcile mined plan versus actual plan to identify improvement areas.
* Lead production and operational mining teams, ensuring goal unity through clear communication.
Requirements:
* WA First Class Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency is desirable.
* Completed a degree qualification in Mining Engineering.
* Supervisory or Management Training is preferred.
* Experience mentoring and developing a team of Mining Engineers.
* Solid underground engineering experience, with exposure to all production phases, preferably gold.
* Possess a valid Driver's Licence.
