The Opportunity
Join our O&M team at Cunderdin Solar Farm as an Electrician (Field Technician) on an attractive 8 days on, 6 days off roster. This hands-on role focuses on operations and maintenance (O&M), helping ensure the site performs at peak efficiency.
We are looking for candidates who live locally, or accommodation is provided for those who are able to drive in and drive out, such as from Perth.
What we offer:
* Total package of $140,920 per annum + super, consisting of:
* Base salary $128,440
* $12,480 per year Allowance
* Additional overtime, on-call and public holiday worked paid at award rates
* Work an 8 days on, 6 days off roster (9.5 hour days + 30 min unpaid break)
* Accommodation in Cunderdin is provided for those who are able to drive in and drive out.

Your responsibilities as an Electrician (Field Technician) will be:
* Performing routine maintenance on equipment
* Diagnosing and troubleshooting various project systems issues
* Developing standard operating documents for machine maintenance, operations and training
* Overseeing and supervising sub-contractors
* You may also be requested to travel to other solar farms for a pre-determined period of time to support or train
To be successful as our Electrician (Field Technician), you will have:
* The ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, manuals and schematics
* Valid electrical qualifications license
* HV electrical qualification desirable
* Valid Australian drivers license
* Experience in electrical maintenance and repairing various types of electrical equipment with preferred experience in renewables and solar
* Willingness for some roster flexibility for on call and emergency works where required
* Sound computer skills
* Ability to pass medical, drug, alcohol tests and Police Check
