Job Details

Melbourne is the primary target location for this role. Our client, an Australian financial services organisation, requires a Procurement Sourcing and Contract Analyst to work on a 6-month contract.

This position entails leading/supporting delivery of BAU sourcing activities and associated contract or relationship management tasks across the organisation in collaboration with other P&C team members as required.


Responsibilities

* Providing transactional and administrative support in the delivery of procurement initiatives to support the wider procurement team.
* Ensuring accuracy and completeness of initiatives and actions being undertaken and reflected within the Procurement system.
* Proactively building strong relationships with business units, stakeholders, industry experts, peer agencies, panel administrators, and vendors.
* Supporting the documentation of all P&C coordination activities/processes as required.
* Ensuring that any vendor and service provider relationships required for the provision of procurement and commercial services are well managed;
* Creating and nurturing working relationships with business units to continuously improve procurement practices across the organisation.
* Performing other related activities as requested by the client from time to time.


Required Skills & Specialisms

* Ability to complete an NV1 clearance check.
* Expertise working with Microsoft Office technologies like Word and Excel necessary, MS Teams & SharePoint highly advantageous.
* High attention to detail with a thorough and methodical approach to work.
* Growth mindset, adaptable to change, dynamic, and proactive.
* Excellent time management and ability to prioritise.
* Proven experience within a procurement team, sourcing goods and/or services within a corporate environment.
* Impeccable written and verbal communication skills.
* Reliable, self-starter with ability to work independently and within a team environment.
* PASSION FOR BUILDING COHESIVE AND COLLABORATIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH PEERS AND STAKEHOLDERS.
* Active listener who seeks to understand and is comfortable clarifying or escalating when required.
