Job Description
The Integrated Case Management Caseworker plays a vital role in delivering quality professional casework services to young people subject to a youth justice intervention. As part of this team, you will be responsible for ensuring that each client receives culturally appropriate and inclusive support.
Key responsibilities include:
* Deliver best practice statutory casework services to young people with minimal supervision.
* Demonstrate cultural capability and/or a commitment to developing cultural capability to ensure an inclusive culture that aligns with the Human Rights Act 2019.
* Prepare and present information and evidence to the Children's Court, including conducting pre and post-court interviews, liaising with key court stakeholders, and preparing pre-sentence reports, affidavits, and other documentation as required.
* Engage with and establish partnerships with internal and external stakeholders and service providers to achieve quality casework outcomes.
* Provision and coordination of the therapeutic alliance, formulating a singular case plan with consistent action-oriented goals to support the young person and their family members.
* Undertake record and information management tasks, including maintenance of case records, preparation of reports, and data entry.
* Liaise with and seek advice from relevant Youth Justice Service Centre staff on complex cases, program development, and payment of program-related costs.
