The Library Quality and Planning role plays a crucial part in the University's library by supporting strategic initiatives in quality management, planning, and staff development.
This position contributes significantly to operational initiatives across the Library, fostering an engaged, positive, and forward-looking environment that supports the full range of the Library's services and activities.
About This Role
This role is responsible for using insights to inform evidence-based practices and drive continuous improvement, contributing to business planning and service development aligned with the strategic goals of the University Library.
Key Responsibilities
* To collaborate with leaders across the organisation on staff development, quality management, and planning initiatives within a higher education context.
* To apply advanced skills in service management and performance measurement, including increased user engagement, insightful analysis, and impactful communication of results.
* To contribute to the delivery of staff development, quality management, and planning initiatives, working with leaders across the organisation to achieve this goal.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Proven ability to work collaboratively with leaders across an organisation in areas such as staff development, quality management, planning, and/or staff capability initiatives within a higher education context.
Advanced skills in service management and performance metrics, including data analysis, visualisation, and dashboard creation, in a library, higher education or similar environment.
