Overview
Melbourne Grammar School is seeking highly skilled and dedicated Sports Coaches and Assistants to work with students at our Wadhurst (Middle School) and Senior School campuses on a seasonal, casual basis. Sport at Melbourne Grammar School is considered very important to our students' overall development and our sports programs cater for all levels of performance, while also providing pathways for the elite who wish to excel.
Responsibilities
* Be available for weekday training and Saturday morning inter-school competition fixtures.
* Training sessions are available in the morning timeslots (6.45am–8.00am) and afternoons (from 2.30pm–6.00pm); times will be advised to successful applicants.
* Demonstrate strong knowledge of the sport and rules of the game. Prior coaching experience is not necessary but commitment and passion to the sport is essential.
* Inspire or motivate young athletes; maintain excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Commit to fostering a positive and inclusive sporting environment.
* Must have a Working with Children Check Clearance or be willing to obtain prior to commencement.
Qualifications
* Relevant Coaching Accreditation.
* Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check.
