Boab Health Services is a not-for-profit, multidisciplinary primary health care service which offers a multitude of services throughout the Kimberley region.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced clinician, who wants to take the next step into management. The Regional Manager has vital role in supporting the delivery of clinical services to the East Kimberley region of Western Australia.
About the role
This role is responsible on a day-to-day basis to support the executive management team in maintaining and improving clinical service delivery in the respective regions.
This role is a key leadership position within Boab Health Services. The Regional Manager position will incorporate an additional clinical caseload (no less than 0.2 FTE) in one of the following positions:
* Diabetes Educator
* Podiatrist
* Dietitian
* Paediatric Dietitian
* Exercise Physiologist
* Care Coordinator
* Health Navigator
* Mental Health Professional – with a background in Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or Aboriginal Health Worker/ Practitioner.
About you
We are really looking for someone who has great communication and negotiation skills, is highly organised, is a team player, can problem solve and has a can-do attitude.
Ideally, you will have some post registration experience with leadership. Your experience, compassion, and motivation to collaborate with Aboriginal people and in regional and remote mental health care will be highly regarded. You will have AHPRA registration (if applicable to your discipline) and relevant professional association membership.
