Type : Full-Time Term : Ongoing Position Details Marketing and Communications Coordinator The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will be instrumental in articulating and promoting the College's vision and mission and enhancing the College's visibility.
In alignment with CECWA's Strategic Initiatives, the Marketing and Communications Coordinator will endeavour to establish and grow meaningful partnerships with our communities highlighting the value and contribution of a Catholic education, whilst also seeking to grow interest in the College and enrolments.
They will also be required to manage communication channels and platforms, and coordination of key College and community events.
They must possess strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement and collaboration with a diverse range of stakeholders, and have a comprehensive understanding of educational environments.
Additionally, they should be capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Flexibility in work hours is essential to accommodate evening and weekend events on occasion.
Selection Criteria
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Ability to provide excellent customer service to internal and external community members.

• High level administration skills including proficiency in using Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams.

• Excellent proficiency with websites, social media platforms, and digital content management.

• Excellent proficiency with Publishing/Design Software such as Adobe Suite, Canva, etc.

• Experience in event set-up and booking systems.

• Excellent organisational and management skills.

• Ability work independently as well as part of a team.

• A growth mindset.

• Ability to use initiative and problem-solve – i.e. be solution focused.

• Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.

• Actively support and promote the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education as articulated in the Bishops of WA Mandate for Catholic schools and the Vision and Mission of the College.

• Demonstrate capacities in all areas of the key responsibilities as articulated in the Role Description.

• Have completed or be willing to undertake and complete accreditation to work in a Catholic school.

• Have a current Working with Children Card (WWCC).
Qualifications Required
• Excellent interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills.

• Strong digital marketing experience across several platforms.

• Experience in a Marketing, Communication and/or Public Relations role within an education environment.

• Demonstrated content development, photography and writing skills.

• Commitment to the Catholic ethos and a lived example of Gospel values in professional life.
Desirable:
• Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications and/or Public Relations or equivalent experience.
