We are seeking a skilled and experienced medical emergency services professional to join our team.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing first response capability for injury management on site, delivering high standards of pre-hospital emergency, medical and clinical care to all employees, and supporting and assisting other site personnel as required.
Key measurables include:
* Providing the first response capability for injury management on site
* Delivering a high standard of pre-hospital emergency, medical and clinical care to all employees
* Supporting and assisting other site personnel as required
* Maintaining medical clinic and emergency equipment
* Actively supporting the Emergency Response Team through the development and delivery of training packages to site personnel based on the training plan.
Requirements include:
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in public safety and emergency response in a mining environment
* Experience working as part of a multi-disciplined HSE function
* Experience with open cut and underground mine rescue
* Certificate IV in Pre-Hospital Emergency Medical Response
* HLTPAT005 - Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing
* Certificate IV Training and Assessing (Desirable)
* Certificate in AIIMS (PUAEMR038 Work within an emergency management context or similar) (Desirable)
* Experience in mine site access control and security functions (Desirable)
