Maximize Sales Growth and Market Share
The Area Sales Manager role involves maximizing profitability, volume, and market share through the growth of new unit sales within a designated territory. This is achieved by building relationships and gaining new business with current and future clients to support the Melbourne Branch located in Dandenong.
About the Role:
* Achieve profitable unit volume growth through new and used sales in the sales territory.
* Develop good relationships with customers in a competitive environment.
* Promote sales of products to existing customers and establish new contacts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Arrange customer visits to demonstrate product performance and suitability
• Participate in planning and execution of programs to promote products and sales activities
• Provide technical knowledge to assist in preparing estimates and tenders according to sales and pricing policy
• Ensure technical information and advice regarding product nature and performance is provided to customers
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in Business Sales or Sales & Marketing (desirable)
* Previous experience in Sales within the Material Handling industry
* Ability to handle conflicting priorities and work professionally under pressure
* Excellent Customer Service and Interpersonal skills
* Intermediate to advanced Computer literacy
* Self-motivated and great time management skills
