Morgan Park Raceway is one of Australia's most dynamic regional motorsport venues, hosting state and national-level events and welcoming over 50,000 visitors each year. Operated by the Warwick District Sporting Car Club Inc. (WDSCC), we're passionate about motorsport, our local community, and delivering great events.
We're looking for an enthusiastic Media & Marketing Coordinator to lead our digital presence, content creation, and sponsorship promotion — someone who loves motorsport, has a creative eye, and can tell great stories across social media, video, and web platforms.
The role is for a part‑time position 0.8 FTE.
What you'll do
* Plan and deliver marketing campaigns to promote events and venue activities
* Manage the Raceway's social media, website, and e‑newsletters
* Capture and edit short‑form videos and photography for social media and marketing use
* Coordinate sponsorships, ensuring signage, social posts, and recognition deliverables are met
* Create content and graphics using Canva or Adobe tools
* Write and distribute media releases and race event updates
* Liaise with local media, motorsport bodies, and sponsors for coverage and collaboration
* Work with the Event and Admin teams to ensure consistent communications across all events
* Weekend work is part of this role
Role Requirements
* Experience in marketing, communications, or media production
* Skills in social media management, content planning, and engagement analytics
* Experience with video creation and editing (Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar)
* Ability to update and maintain websites (CMS)
* Strong writing, storytelling, and visual communication skills
* Knowledge of sponsorship and partnership management
* Excellent time management and attention to detail
* Positive, can‑do attitude and passion for motorsport or live events
While not mandatory, experience and understanding in the following will be highly regarded
* Experience working in motorsport, sporting clubs, or event environments
* Graphic design and photography skills
* Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, or Media
