The Role
At Airmaster, we pride ourselves on delivering top-notch HVAC & Fire solutions to our clients.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Trades Assistant/Mechanical Fitter to join our ACT team, based out of Fyshwick.
Key duties will involve the maintaining, repair and installation of various HVAC plant and equipment with a variety of our well-known and high-profile clients.
Essential to this role is a strong Mechanical and/or Electrical understanding and clear communication skills.
Qualified technicians in the Electrical and Refrigeration fields are encouraged to apply.
As a Trade Assistant/Mechanical Fitter, you will work closely with qualified tradespeople across a variety of Commercial sites. This includes:
* Assisting with HVAC & Mechanical Services installations
* Assisting with HVAC Commercial servicing and maintenance
* Handling and operating basic hand & power tools
* Ensuring work sites are safe, clean & efficient
* Working as part of a high-performing team
What we are Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications, experience and skills:
* Demonstrate Commercial HVAC experience
* Comfortable with handling & operating hand/power tools and working around plants & equipment
* Strong communications skills, both verbal and written, and a positive, team-focused attitude
* Strong work ethic and have a safety-first attitude
* Ability to receive and act on instruction, as well as highly organised
* Capable of working independently and collaboratively with others
* White Card (Construction Induction)
* Full valid Driver's License
* Working at Heights & EWP tickets (desirable, but not essential)
