Brown Steel is a well-established structural steel fabrication company with 30 years of experience fabricating Structural Steel for the construction industry across Toowoomba and beyond. We are currently seeking a qualified, experienced Yardman to join our logistics team.
About the Role
Hours: Monday – Friday | 6am - 2:30pm
Work Week: 40 hours (38 paid + 2 banked for monthly RDO)
Reporting to: Logistics Coordinator and Production Manager
What We're Looking For
Minimum 2 years' experience as a Yardman or in Logistics/Transport.
C - Open Driver's Licence (Mandatory)
HR - Heavy Rigid Truck Driver's Licence (Optional)
Forklift Licence (Mandatory)
Construction White Card (General Safety Induction)
Ability to work to meet deadlines
Sound knowledge of OHS policies and a commitment to safety
Personal Attributes
Self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised
Strong team player with good communication skills
Reliable and safety-conscious
Willing to assist with general housekeeping duties
