Business Development Manager Role
We are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to oversee the growth of our compost products, account management, and development of new business opportunities across our two Organics Resource Recovery Facilities in NSW.
* This is a critical role that will help us achieve revenue and operational targets for our Organics business across NSW.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building and managing a sales pipeline across their assigned territory, cultivating strong customer relationships, leveraging CRM systems to manage leads and track progress, collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery, and identifying new market opportunities to maximise portfolio growth.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* Qualifications in environmental science, agricultural science, or engineering.
* 3-5 years commercial or operational experience in one of the following fields: Organics processing/recycling, Primary Industries (agricultural, mining) Horticulture.
* Relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
* Able to travel and manage work hours.
* Confidence using CRM systems and tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
* A natural ability to connect with diverse stakeholders and industries.
* Resilience, motivation, and a growth mindset.
