Selling a wide range of top quality tools and equipment to distributors and wholesalers, across both Australian & New Zealand, our client is looking for an
experienced Assistant Accountant, who will also look after end-to-end Accounts Payable,
to join their close-knit team.
This is a full time role, working Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, on-site at our client's SMEATON GRANGE offices.
Responsibilities
Performing GL reconciliations
Bank reconciliations
Assist with month end and year end processes
Calculate and process various monthly journals
Assist with balance sheet reconciliations
Support budgeting, auditing, compliance activities
Manage full function Accounts Payable for Australia & New Zealand
Checking and payment of employee expense claims (Concur)
Processing intercompany invoices and payments
Adhoc related tasks and projects
You would have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance along with relevant hands-on experience. Systems wise you have worked within ERP type systems and are comfortable with MS Office and have Intermediate-Advanced Excel skills.
You are capable of working autonomously but are also happy to assist others in the broader team when required.
