We are seeking a reliable and experienced housekeeper/family assistant for a private household in Fitzroy.
The role is four days per week, approximately 9:00 am – 3:00 pm (hours negotiable).
We have weekly professional cleaners to do the heavy work, so duties will focus on general cleaning and tidying, laundry and ironing (including putting clothes away), bed making, occasional dog walking, decluttering, organising the home, small errands, and generally keeping the household clean, orderly, and well maintained.
Requirements:
* Australian resident with the right to work (we are seeking someone long-term)
* Excellent attention to detail and diligence in all aspects of housekeeping.
* Self-motivated, good initiative and able to follow direction.
* Hold a current Police Check.
* Drivers License.
* Have management as well as housekeeping skills (liaison with gardeners/contractors, organise repairs, etc)
* Love of dogs a must! We have two whippets.
* Excellent communication skills.
